William Batie's career in the financial services industry started right after college in 1994 as a financial advisor at what was then "Dean Witter".
He stayed with the wire house through it's several mergers and name changes for almost 20 years.
With the many changes that had occured over that time it became clear to him in 2012 that in order to deliver the unbiased asset management and financial planning his clients deserve he needed to establish his own independent investment firm.
In February of 2013 Bill left Morgan Stanley and founded Batie & Company Capital Management. The open architecture of the independent channel of the industry has allowed him to purchase some of the best technology in the industry for the construction and monitoring of investment portfolios and financial planning.
Bill is married to Jessica and has 4 children. Bill's hobbies include golf, flyfishing, hunting and coaching.
Bill resides in the east mountains outside of Albuquerque, NM and is active in coaching and volunteering for several children's sport teams.
